This work proposes a revised model of Eurasian prehistory centered on the Iranoid Genetic Horizon-a deep, archaic population complex rooted in the Hara-Bereziti / Kura-Araxes sphere of the southern Caucasus-Zagros region. Drawing on archaeogenetics, comparative linguistics, anthropology, and cultural history, the study argues that the peoples traditionally labeled as Indo-Europeans are more accurately understood as descendants of an early Iranoid (Caspianoid-ANE hybrid) population, rather than as a product of a later Steppe expansion alone.
The paper reconstructs the developing synthesis of Dzudzuana-like peoples, West-Eurasian Basal lineages, early Zagros agriculturists, and Ancient North Eurasians (ANE). It demonstrates how their admixture-supported by emerging genomic data-produced the early Proto-Iranic / Proto-Indo-Iranic lineages that later expanded westward and northward into Europe.
Through stepwise linguistic analysis, the work identifies deep Iranic roots in the ethnonyms, hydronyms, oronyms, royal titles, heraldic symbols, and core vocabulary of Celtic, Germanic, Slavic, and early Romance populations. Special emphasis is placed on the movement of Saka-Scythian, Sarmatian, and Alan groups into Europe, where their cultural and genetic impact remains detectable in:
the fleur-de-lys (Farnah symbol),
the European lion and eagle heraldic systems,
river names such as Don, Danube, Dniester, Dnieper,
ethnonyms like Scot, Saxon, Suebi, Rus, Goth,
titles such as Earl, Aetheling, Tsar,
and traditional horse and molosser dog types.
The study challenges the outdated Indo-European Steppe origin paradigm and replaces it with a continuous Iranoid dispersal model that better reflects archaeological patterns, linguistic relationships, and ancient DNA evidence. The result is a coherent historical reconstruction that unifies the origins of European tribes with their deeper connections to the Iranian plateau, the Caucasus, and the Central Asian sphere.
