Book Description:
I Remember Him: According to Matthew - Book One: From Promise to Proclamation is a Matthew-only fictional Gospel novel that invites readers to step into the early days of Jesus' story with reverence, imagination, and wonder.
Told through the eyes of an unnamed apostle looking back on all he saw and heard, this first book follows the remembered beginnings of Messiah's family line, the hidden birth of Jesus, the fear of Herod, the wilderness cry of John the Baptist, the Jordan, the temptation, the first call of ordinary fishermen, and the mountain teaching that left the people breathless.
This is not written as a Bible study or a replacement for Scripture. It is a fictional work meant to help readers imagine what it may have felt like to walk dusty roads, hear the wind over Galilee, smell the fishing nets by the shore, see the faces in the crowds, and feel the wonder, fear, laughter, confusion, and mercy surrounding the early ministry of Jesus.
Rooted in Matthew's Gospel and shaped with Jewish and Messianic Jewish context, Book One begins the journey from promise to proclamation - from the names that carried Him to the words that awakened a kingdom.
Readers should always read the Bible first and compare everything with the true Word of God. This novel is only meant to open the mind to the possibilities within Scripture.
