I Remember Him - According to Mark is a biblical historical fiction narrative retelling of the Gospel of Mark, written to pull the reader into the dust, fear, wonder, urgency, and holy weight of the days when Jesus walked among His people.
Through the eyes of an unnamed apostolic witness, the story moves from the wilderness cry of John the Baptist to the crowded shores of Galilee, from synagogue confrontations and desperate healings to storms, demons, accusations, betrayal, the cross, and the trembling astonishment of the empty tomb.
This retelling leans deeply into the Jewish world of the Gospel: Sabbath rhythms, synagogue life, Torah, purity concerns, temple authority, Pharisaic traditions, Roman pressure, Passover, and the longing of Israel for the Kingdom of God.
