Then everything goes spectacularly wrong.
Dropped into 2026, the three find themselves in a world of smartphones, social media, smart everything, disappearing payphones and people who seem to be permanently connected-yet somehow more disconnected than ever.
They have four weeks to explore the future, gather their evidence and report back.
What they discover is stranger than anything they could have imagined.
Because the future isn't simply faster, smarter or more technologically advanced.
It is lonelier.
And somewhere along the way, three unlikely companions begin to wonder whether the supposedly boring world they left behind wasn't quite as backward as they thought.
