Nolan and Kiri are mercenaries, going across the world of Orithin to do what they're good at: killing Outland Monsters.
After spending a bit more time than originally planned in Rile City, Nolan and Kiri venture towards Kiri's home city: Arctrolas. However, along the way, their bolt train is forced to stop in Ponipura Oasis due to a monstrous sandstorm, one that gives Nolan a really bad feeling. Meeting up with Avner and Rúadán, the group hunkers down and sees if Nolan's feelings are paranoia, or there is something far more sinister than any of them have ever faced.
