The book follows the complete clinical workflow in six stages: safety foundations and PPE before you touch the patient; the full venipuncture protocol including order of draw, tourniquet technique, needle insertion, and multi-tube sequencing; capillary and special collection procedures; specimen labeling, transport, and point-of-care testing; complication recognition and immediate response; and a final command reference chapter formatted as print-and-use tools you carry into rotation.
