What began as a journal became a dedication to a friend, centered on the most momentous moment of my life. What was once a rejected testimony demanded to be made public. For how can anyone claim a personal relationship with truth itself-timeless, otherworldly-without sharing it with another?
There is a vast difference between something about the truth and the truth itself. It affects how we identify ourselves and the world around us. That distinction is not common knowledge, though it should be. Cultures, opinions, religions, and worldviews abound, yet there remains a hope not of this world-a guaranteed hope. This is the hope celebrated throughout history, as it is written.
You are invited to join a once-and-for-all gathering: the forming of a new body of humanity. This witness is grounded not only in lived experience, but also in the most controversial and fascinating book ever composed. For if truth itself were not verifiable, it would be merely relative-and nothing more. Journey along with me and find for yourself the best friend anyone can ever have by taking God at his word.
David Antknee Cook is a writer from Washington State living with two cats, who continues passionately about sharing his truth encounter through friendship evangelism. When he is not writing, he spends time engaging people in conversations about faith in churches, missions, and other religious gathering places. Known among friends as a Jesus freak, Antknee believes God's grace calls Christians to share their testimony wherever people gather.
