All of these game system additions have been refined, unified, play tested, and balanced along the 1981 Moldvay Basic / Cook Expert paradigm for effortless Old-School Essentials adoption, or easy conversion to your favorite edition of the fantasy game. This tome is focused on character enhancements. You will discover hundreds of new character progression options, including earned ability scores of 19, rules for OSE experience levels 15 to 20, demi-human ancestral lore, hundreds of level titles, Chaotic / Lawful / Neutral clerical deities and distinctions, heroic abilities for fighters, arcane wards and powers for magic-users, empowerment options for thieves, forgotten spells and counterspells, as well as more varieties of valuable dungeoneering equipment, weapons, and armor.
