This book, The Good News for Sikhs, is a call to encounter the One God who is behind the Name-Yahweh, the eternal and self-revealing God of the Bible-through Jesus, the Messiah. The Hebrew name for Jesus is Yahshua, which means Yahweh is salvation. In Him, the divine Name becomes personal, accessible, and redemptive. Through Jesus, Yahweh's love is made known not merely as a concept but as a living relationship.
This book is written with deep respect for spirituality, devotion to the Creator, moral integrity, the pursuit of truth, and a life of selfless service. Yet it also presents the unique message of the Gospel: that salvation is basically a gift of grace, not something earned, and that Yahweh invites all people into a transformative relationship with Him through Jesus Christ, the Word of God made flesh.
The chapters that follow introduce key aspects of the Christian faith in dialogue with Sikh thought.
