Do we tend to put God in a box unconsciously? Through this book, Joe brings God into today's time by sharing how he thinks God would respond in a contemporary way to our actions and words. He uses a bit of humor and modern-day language to share his view of today's God. He hopes that readers will see the humanness of God and thus bring Him to life in today's time in their hearts. Joe lives in East Dundee, Illinois. He was born in New York but was raised in Florida. He was a career Police Officer, then owned several businesses, and most recently held a retirement job until he fully retired recently at the age of eighty. Now he devotes his time and energy to his passion-planning for and leading the Men's Ministry at a medium sized church he attends. He also fills a role as an Elder with a nationwide ministry for men, women, and couples-The Cross Ministry Group. He develops and creates material for Men's weekend retreats. Over the years he has facilitated many retreats. Off topic-he loves German Shepherds! This is Joe's third book, and in it he shares how he thinks God would respond to us in real time today. Being that he is of the belief that many of us put God in a box, it is his hope that readers will be able to see Him through a different lens form reading his book.
