In psychology, manipulation is a type of social influence which change the way of perception of others through deceptive, abusive and underhanded tactics. On the basis of advancement of manipulator, the techniques used in manipulation could be considered exploitative, deceptive, abusive and devious. Basically, we can say that manipulation which is a social influence that works to change the behaviours or perception of others or the subject, through deceptive, abusive or underhanded tactics. The agent or manipulator is going to work to advance his own interests usually at the expense of another that is why most of their methods would be considered deceptive, abusive, devious and exploitative.
