How can more mobile foreign students succeed in their studies? Mobile foreign students are caught between personality factors, internal and external requirements, personal and contextual resources under the umbrella of the university. Especially the free movers among them face the challenge of having individual coping strategies for the success of their studies. They are located in the university, carry with them many problems and are facing a variety of challenges which the university has to go to the bottom for providing adequate and sustainable support systems to prevent dropping out from university. A resource-based approach: What are the success factors of mobile foreign students achieving their degree, what are the areas of concern? What is designable by the university, what is beyond the control of the university, what can only indirectly be influenced by? What are the requirements for? An analysis based on a qualitative survey at the UoC.
