The book is a memoir of his experiences as a sailor and a preacher. It contains stories of his life at sea, including his encounters with storms, pirates, and other dangers. The book also describes his journey from being a sailor to becoming a preacher and the challenges he faced in this transition. Additionally, the book includes an account of a revival that took place on board a ship during one of his voyages. The revival resulted in many sailors turning to Christianity, and the book provides a detailed description of the events that led to this transformation.
