My name is Ashley Lauren Sanchez, and I am the founder of Soul Compass Consulting LLC and the creator of the Finding Our Way series. As a mother of four, a trauma-informed support professional, and a compassionate advocate for families, I understand how deeply a child's trauma can affect the entire family.
I created this curriculum because it is the kind of support I needed my own mother to have when I was a child-and, unfortunately, the kind of support I later needed as a parent to my own children. While navigating these experiences, I faced overwhelming feelings of helplessness, anger, and confusion. I often wished there had been clearer guidance and compassionate resources to help my family understand what we were feeling and how we could move forward together.
Drawing from personal experience, specialized training, and a lifelong passion for helping others feel heard, I create gentle and practical resources for children, teenagers, parents, and caregivers navigating difficult seasons. My work focuses on emotional safety, healthy communication, self-compassion, and rebuilding connection after trauma.
I never want another parent, child, or family to feel as though they must face these painful circumstances alone. Through Soul Compass Consulting, I am committed to creating supportive spaces and meaningful resources that offer families the understanding, reassurance, and hope I once needed myself.
I believe healing does not follow a perfect timeline, what happened to you does not define who you are-and no family should ever have to find its way alone.
