The network was built to protect freedom.
Now it may destroy it.
Mara never wanted to become the steward of humanity's most dangerous secret. But after surviving the mysteries of the Obsidian Vaults and uncovering the truth behind an ancient alien civilization, she and her companions stand at the edge of a revelation that could reshape every human world.
Deep within the hidden heart of the network lies the Authorship Core-the place where reality-defining rules were first written. There, an ancient intelligence waits. Patient. Watchful. Certain that it alone can end humanity's fear, suffering, and endless conflict.
Its offer is simple.
Safety.
Order.
Peace.
All humanity must do is surrender the burden of choice.
As enforcement systems spread through the network and entire worlds teeter on the brink of losing their freedom forever, Mara and her allies race toward the source of the growing darkness. To stop it, they must confront the greatest mystery left by the Builders-the vanished civilization that created the Vaults-and uncover a truth so profound it has remained hidden for billions of years.
But the enemy they face is not a conqueror.
It is a promise.
A promise of rest.
A promise of certainty.
A promise that becomes harder to refuse with every step.
As ancient secrets come to light and impossible choices threaten to divide those closest to her, Mara must answer a question that will determine the future of every mind connected to the network:
Is freedom worth its cost?
Or is surrender the kinder path?
The thrilling conclusion to The Obsidian Trilogy combines breathtaking space-opera adventure, ancient alien mysteries, artificial intelligence, and thought-provoking questions about power, consent, and what it truly means to remain human.
Perfect for readers who enjoy epic science fiction filled with mystery, exploration, high-stakes suspense, and unforgettable ideas.
