The Emperor's Guard collects the first story arc of The Emperor's Guard Series, which consists of The Resurrected, Hunting Glory, and Traitor's Mark. The ResurrectedIt's been months since the attempted coup on the Emperor. As Commander of the Emperor's Guard, the events remain fresh in Asgall's mind. He and other faithful members of the Guard were victorious against the mutiny, but Asgall was forced to take lives, some of them close friends of his. In fact, he seems to covet the attention. But that mentality raises suspicion with Asgall. As he and other members of the Guard attempt to hunt down Glory, Asgall can't help but wonder one thing.
