The Emerald City of Oz is a classic children's fantasy novel written by L. Frank Baum. It is the sixth book in the Oz series and was first published in 1910. The story follows Dorothy Gale and her aunt and uncle as they travel to the magical land of Oz, where they are greeted by their old friends, the Scarecrow, the Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion. However, the peaceful land of Oz is facing a new threat. The Nome King, a powerful and evil ruler, has declared war on the Emerald City and is determined to take over the land. Dorothy and her friends must embark on a dangerous journey to try and stop him, facing many obstacles and challenges along the way.As they journey through the strange and magical land of Oz, they encounter new friends and enemies, including the Patchwork Girl, the Glass Cat, and the Gnome King's army of powerful creatures. With the help of their old friends and new allies, Dorothy and her companions must use their wits and courage to save the Emerald City and defeat the Nome King. The Emerald City of Oz is a timeless classic that has enchanted generations of readers with its imaginative world and lovable characters. It is a must-read for anyone who loves fantasy, adventure, and magic. The Emerald City is built all of beautiful marbles in which are set a profusion of emeralds, every one exquisitely cut and of very great size. There are other jewels used in the decorations inside the houses and palaces, such as rubies, diamonds, sapphires, amethysts and turquoises. But in the streets and upon the outside of the buildings only emeralds appear, from which circumstance the place is named the Emerald City of Oz.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
