- They also stop you from doing what you know you should do to improve your life.
That's how excuses slowly and quietly steal your time, money, health, relationships, and the life you want to live.
This book makes something clear most people avoid. You don't have a time, money, capability, knowledge, strategy, or motivation problem. You have an excuse problem. And until that's solved nothing changes.
Unlike most personal development books, this one won't motivate you, It will get you to do what your excuses won't allow you to do.
With my clients, after a 1-hour planning session, within 48 hours they begin doing more in one week than they did the previous three months, and in one case the previous year-as they:
- Take control of their body and health
- Follow through on outreach, sales, posting, and marketing
- Launch projects their excuses prevented
- Ask for what they want in sales, with clients, and in personal relationships
- Say no when it's in their best interest
Not because they learned something new... Because they stopped obeying their excuses.
Author's StoryOn January 1, 2025, after six months of testing, a cancer diagnosis, a year of treatment, and the side effects, I became a cancer survivor-but I still felt like crap. Then, on April 22, 2025, I made a decision: I kicked cancer's ass.
In that moment, my mindset changed from using cancer as an excuse... to using it as a reason to stop negotiating with my excuses.
At the time, I had no money, no clients, and no safety net.
One year later, this book exists for one reason: To show you what's possible when excuses are no longer in control.

Cancer doesn't destroy your life overnight. It spreads quietly until it takes everything.
Excuses work the same way, slowly killing the life you could create.
Cancer doesn't go away on its own. It must be eradicated.
