Four young friends in the tiny town of Antioch, North Carolina find themselves swept up into a centuries old conflict between a Chinese sorcerer and a Taoist Immortal, with only weeks to prepare for a battle that will test their martial arts skills against the sorcerer's trained assassins. They must draw on everything they have learned, and trust in their teachers - the Immortal himself, Ming Tao Shih, and Grandfather Chen, a master of Shaolin boxing - and the magical world created to give them the time and the training they will need. A young adult fantasy adventure, Dragons of Antioch weaves the myths and legends of traditional Chinese kung fu into the lives of the four, detailing their training in both Shaolin and Wudang boxing, and in the skills that have bordered on the edge of the fantastic in traditional Chinese martial arts training for centuries. The result is Harry Potter meets Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon in a wild ride of humor, action and adventure!
