After his mother abandoned him, he grew up with his uncle and his friends. One day the leader of the clan announces they get a day off, and they visit the Forbidden Forest.

They go deeper into the forest than expected and run into wildlife problems right away, including a dangerous encounter with a FireWing dragon. Right after that they get captured by Queen Pigeon, the leader of the ZapWings. They get taken to the dungeon and Wave feels like the dragon who captures him is familiar. Pretty soon the group escapes but runs into problems - like the monster-looking prison guard.
