Susan Karp hired a lawyer to sue her late husband's employer. She died before she could name the company.

Her car ran off the road with nails embedded in every tire, scattered across the asphalt behind her. The lawyer Susan called was Angela Atkinson's sister, and Angela wants to know who was desperate to stop the lawsuit.

The next day, an explosion tears through the animal testing lab at ProFarm, the pesticide company outside Hummings Hollow. ProFarm blames animal rights activists. But Angela discovers Susan's husband, Dennis, died in a workplace accident there two months earlier, and the company was quick to call it his own fault.

In the rubble, Ruff finds one survivor, a tiny trembling gerbil. The vet says whatever happened in that lab left the little creature with nerve damage.

Susan was about to expose something at ProFarm. Now someone has sabotaged a car, destroyed a lab, and killed to keep it buried.

Angela and Ruff must uncover what ProFarm was testing before the last living witness becomes the killer's next loose end.

This series continues to blend murder, mystery, and animal rights, and Parrott's particular charm turns Demolition Daredevil into a delightful treat that's sure to please.--5 Stars, Reader's Favorite
