Ashwood is a small town stuck between mortal earth and Fairy, living an a tenuous peace between cultures and worlds. Synchronicity moves in all things, and its hand seems to be guiding the events around Allie as she struggles to navigate conflicting personalities, conflicts of interest, and a job she doesn't really know how to do, but even synchronicity has its limits. They must solve this mystery and find their suspect before he crosses a line that none of them can come back from.
