About the Author
Erma Cooke, NNP-BC, is a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with more than forty years of experience caring for critically ill newborns across the country. Her work has been featured on StoryCorps and published in Feathers Brush My Heart and Dancing with Darkness. She is known for her compassion, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to the families she serves.
