Alongside Becky, a gifted white half-elf and half-human sorceress whose connection to the system allows her to sense patterns hidden inside reality, and Wesley, a powerful Black vampire whose instincts violently reject the Divine Code's control, DeMarcus becomes trapped inside a growing conflict between collapsing order and the terrifying evolution of the system itself.
The deeper they investigate the spreading synchronization failures, the more horrifying the truth becomes.

As hidden controlled zones emerge across Atlanta, the system begins exerting direct influence over movement, emotion, and human behavior with increasing aggression. At the same time, powerful supernatural forces tied to Heaven, Hell, angels, monsters, and the divine hierarchy begin moving behind the scenes as reality itself destabilizes.
Every disruption DeMarcus and his allies create forces the system to evolve faster, becoming more intelligent, more invasive, and more dangerous with every correction.
