A collection of sword & sorcery short stories with feminist (and LGBT) themes. Intelligent women, controversial issues: Faye had kept secret her unrequited love for her best friend, the Princess, but magic lessons threatens to expose her in the worst possible way. The pregnant wife of the greatest tournament champion doesn't realize that her husband has become quite dangerous outside of his competitions. A farmer, his wife and son are caught in the middle of a deadly clash between a gang of bandits and an LGBT pirate crew (the lesbian captain, her gay male first mate and, of course, a drag queen), a confrontation that may destroy them as well. No matter how many times she's killed, Petra always resurrects. That impossible secret leads her to become a holy knight who must hunt down people who are like her for the common good. Three women from completely different lifestyles are united in the home of a countess as her new slaves and their pasts catch up with them in the unexpected pursuit of justice and friendship. A thirteen-year-old girl's life at her family's inn and tavern is turned upside down when two unknown women come to help out for the harvest festival.
