Once upon a time, and far away in the land of Haute Couture Fashion, no one had ever heard the name Zena Halstead. At the start of her career Zena was just another worker in a business that could eat you up and spit you out, but by a fluke and an error on a photo shoot booking, Zena Halstead saved the day and became a 'Fashion Heroine and a household name.'
When Zena was growing up all she ever thought about and wanted to do was design clothes! She wanted to work for any of the top fashion houses and wanted her designs displayed and worn by beautiful models walking the catwalks during Fashion Week. She worked in hiding because no one would give her a chance. She designed and sewed those designs in the living room of her small New York walkup apartment.
Unfortunately, one day, a big mishap took place when her boss sent her on a very important fashion shoot. When the models went to change into their outfits, there were no clothes to be found, anywhere! The clothes that were supposed to arrive for that top notch magazine photo shoot, never made it onto the truck or to the location! Zena wanted to offer her designs for the shoot, but her boss was upset not at Zena but the truck that got the location mixed up. When Zena called her to explain she could get her clothes designs there and save the shoot she wasn't sure her boss would go for her off the charts idea.
If she didn't have clothes for the models she would lose her job and the magazine would never use their company ever again.
Zena had been a life saver that day and even though she was a no name in the business at that time, the magazine saw the work she had done, loved her designs and they were a hit with anyone that saw that edition of the magazine.
After that Designs by Zena became a household name, and the leading Fashion Designer for all sizes and types of clothes, and for all sizes and types of people! Madison and Michael Monroe along with Joe Francis and Devon Heller work with the police to bring down and finally rid themselves of the nightmare that had been hanging over their heads for more than ten years.
