Colorectal cancer is the leading digestive cancer worldwide. The liver is the most frequent site of colorectal cancer metastases. During the course of the disease, 40 to 60% of patients will develop liver metastases, which are synchronous in 10 to 25% of cases.Elective surgery is the only potentially curative treatment. In the synchronous situation, the simultaneous surgical approach has been validated, but poses a problem of approach.Laparoscopy may have a place in this approach. The aim of our study was to assess the feasibility and safety of the laparoscopic approach in combined surgery for colorectal cancer with synchronous liver metastases.
