My lung function was at 17%. I had Cystic Fibrosis. I was 44 years old. I was using oxygen. I was coughing up blood. I needed a second chance at life. On a summer evening in 2017, my life began again as the life of my beautiful Angel Donor, Joni Marie, had come to an end.This book is a collection of stories that represents hope. It represents life. It represents my sincere gratitude to a young lady, a mother of two young children, who in her prime at the age of 39, left this earth, and presented me with a chance to live again. As I never thought I would. When Joni Marie no longer could. Please join me on this journey of life. This journey of celebration. And, most importantly, this journey of thanks.
