In a city powered by magic, invention, and fragile trust, even the brightest minds can cast the darkest shadows.
Sorcerer City stands as a marvel of unity four districts and millions of lives held together by knowledge, craft, and order. At its heart works Chad, the city's most gifted artificer, a man whose machines keep Sorcerer City alive and thriving.
But when one of his creations turns violent, Chad uncovers something far more dangerous than a mechanical failure.
Hidden runes. Corrupted magic. Sabotage buried deep within the city's machines.
As strange incidents spread through workshops and factories, Chad is pulled into a web of political intrigue, forbidden rune craft, and secrets powerful enough to threaten the entire Republic. Forced to investigate the decaying underbelly of Sorcerer City from council halls to sewer tunnels and lawless district he begins to realize that the danger may not be external at all.
It may be growing from within.
Chad's Beginning - is a dark fantasy tale of invention, loyalty, and moral descent. Blending magic with early steampunk elements, the story explores how good intentions can be twisted, how power corrupts quietly, and how heroes are not born but broken.
This is the beginning of Chad's story.
And the first step toward becoming the Monster of Sorcerer City.
