This book is designed to help couples maintain a fun, healthy, intimate relationship, and at the same time focus is put on one's energy level when being intimate. It's so easy to get bored! You can love your partner and still lack an intimate connection over time, so remember what it was like and how you looked at one another when you first met. This book is just food for thought. How do you rate the importance of sex/intimacy in your relationship? (5 being the highest and 1 being the lowest) I would give my rating but instead I will keep you guessing. I'm sure there are some people that would rate a 1 or 2; I just never met them! Have you ever broken up with a person because you were not sexually compatible? That intimate connection is vital for longevity, if you disagree then you have probably stayed with a cheater for different reasons or you yourself have cheated in a relationship and stayed. You may have stayed because you actually love the person you're with, but in reality have accepted that the two of you have lost that intimate connection. In most cases, we know if a connection is lost, but won't admit or accept it. Just know that once you admit the connection is lost, by you staying in the relationship is a form of acceptance, even if you're still hoping to get that connection back. If you are the one hoping to get that connection back, then you should be trying some old or new things to get your partner interested again. Some connections can be restored and others remain broken! Remember, it takes two to accomplish reconnecting with one another. The initial attraction should be effortless; maintaining the attraction is when the effort begins.
