This story is about two women, Patti and Robin. They travel through time via a trap door, and end up in 1837 New Orleans. They are immediately introduced to the Voodoo Queen of New Orleans. She takes Patti and Robin under her wing, and offers them refuge in her home while they are there. In the meantime, Robin attracts the unwanted attention of a dark Voodoo practitioner, who kidnaps her. Patti has to find Robin, get her back, and get to the door that will lead them home. And she has to do it before the door that goes home closes permanently.
