Wicked witches. Murder. Mystery.
Magical children are disappearing from the Morty Realm. It's going to take a wicked witch to figure out who is behind this and why.

Vega Bloodmire is a witch who has faced dangerous Fae kidnappers, evil Witchkin who have murdered her students, a time bandit, a flirtatious Fae prince, zombies, and serial killers. Yet now she faces an enemy too large to pummel into the ground with magic-financial debt.

Vega is drowning in a tide of medical bills that she must pay, and being skilled at magical solutions isn't going to help her. She's going to need to figure out a way to quickly make money to pay off her debt so that she can afford to take the Merlin-class Celestor exam. She's been looking forward to this test so she can prove to the world she's a talented and powerful witch.

Could a second summer job working as the school's recruiting agent be the answer? It seems like a simple solution-until Vega realizes she'll be working with her nemesis, Malisha Bane.

More complications arise when Vega realizes teenagers are disappearing in the Morty Realm before they can be recruited. It's going to take a witch like Vega who's too nosey for her own good to get to the bottom of this mystery. And somehow, she's going to need to learn to cooperate with her nemesis to make this happen.

Will she be able to find and stop the Fae snatching children before another disappears?

This book starts with Vega Bloodmire's life before working at Womby's School for Wayward Witches when she was a new and inexperienced teacher at Lady of the Lake School for Girls. Boys and Ghouls is the 14th book-a novella/short novel-in the series of mysteries. The book takes place at a magical academy, but these whodunnits are fine to be read in any order.

Clean, cozy, no sex or swearing, PG 13-perfectly fine for teens or grandmas who like mysteries with magic.
