This book is a really sweet and addictive slow-burn romance. It follows Theodore, a shy and introverted game design student, and Marissa, his confident and outgoing roommate. What makes the story stand out is how different they are. Theodore is quiet and unsure of himself, while Marissa is full of energy and warmth. Their relationship grows naturally through small moments, especially through gaming and spending time together.
The story feels very real, with themes like self-doubt, personal growth and complicated relationships. Theodore's character development is one of the best parts, as you see him slowly become more confident. The romance builds slowly, which makes every moment feel more special.
