Alice's inquisitiveness leads her to following the rabbit down a hole to which a whole new world awaits her. She meets a caterpillar, a Duchess who owns a Cheshire Cat. She ends up at a tea party with the Hatter and March Hare. She then returns to the room where she started her journey. Alice ends up in the croquet court of the Queen of Hearts. Other creatures that she meets on her journey to home are a Gryphon, a weeping Mock Turtle, the Knave of Hearts and the King.
