In Tutoria, the Awakened System exists to process R.U energy through a closed cycle of leveling, loot generation, and dungeon creation. While every living thing contains traces of R.U, no one channels, recycles, and stores R.U better than the 256 summoned heroes. That being established, the energy was and would never truly be theirs. It belongs to the world. It was merely entrusted to them for the duration of their time as heroes. But when Hiro, one of the strongest heroes, vanished, the vast reserve of R.U entrusted to him by the System vanished with him, leaving the System with a catastrophic deficit it had no way to recover.
Desperate to restore the balance, the System did the unthinkable. It created the one existence every System user would come to fear.
***On a very ordinary day, a young man awakens at the exact spot where the hero disappeared. He has no memories of his past, no clothes, and no System. Yet his very presence strips R.U from those around him. His purpose is simple: figure out who he was, never knowing that he was tasked with reclaiming the world's missing energy, one unwilling donor at a time.
Very early in his journey, he encounters Chaska, a pretty but very feisty girl. The two quickly form an unlikely partnership, each helping the other accomplish their respective objectives.
