Ten Months In A German Raider: A Prisoner Of War Aboard The Wolf is a memoir written by John Stanley Cameron, a Canadian sailor who was taken prisoner aboard the German naval vessel, the SMS Wolf, during World War I. The book recounts his experiences during his ten-month captivity, including his interactions with the German crew, his daily routines, and his attempts to escape. Cameron also provides a detailed account of the Wolf's operations as a raider, including its attacks on Allied ships and the strategies employed by the German crew. The book offers a unique perspective on the war from the viewpoint of a prisoner of war and provides insight into the conditions and treatment of POWs during this time period. Published in 1918, Ten Months In A German Raider is a fascinating historical document that sheds light on a little-known aspect of World War I.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
