Ten Months In A German Raider: A Prisoner Of War Aboard The Wolf is a memoir written by John Stanley Cameron, a Canadian sailor who was captured by the German navy during World War I. The book details his experiences as a prisoner of war aboard the German raider ship, the SMS Wolf, for ten months. Cameron describes the conditions he faced as a captive, including the cramped living quarters, lack of food and water, and the mental and physical toll of living in captivity. He also recounts the various ports the ship visited during its mission, including Cape Town, Durban, and Madras, and the interactions he had with the locals there. The book provides a unique perspective on the war and the experiences of prisoners of war during this time period. It is a valuable historical document that sheds light on a lesser-known aspect of World War I.This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
