Zorp the Mailman Saga 2: Special Delivery
The universe has a way of balancing the books, and for Zorp the Mailman, the bill for a lifetime of chaotic deliveries has finally come due. Zorp has survived it all: the Waffle-Theory Wormhole, the Chronal Mortgage Crisis, and the dreaded Chaotic Resonant Mimic, all while maintaining a 98% on-time delivery rate. But now, the Absolute Accountability of a Reality-Audit looms. The Emerald Exhaust is no longer just carrying standard parcels; it is transporting a Sovereign Mandate cargo so volatile that it threatens to rewrite the laws of the Universal Post.
A Holiday That's Anything But Relaxing
It was supposed to be a hard-earned break, three years of bureaucratic paperwork finally resulting in a trip to the luxury Spa Dimension. But for an emerald Master-Mimic, relaxation is a high-velocity logistical nightmare. From mopping sentient moons into their proper orbits to outrunning a cathedral-sized snail determined to suck the Zen out of the sector, Zorp's holiday was anything but peaceful.
The Weight of the Unknown
Accompanying Zorp is Altroachina, the brilliant Navigator whose internal Living Map is beginning to flicker. Deep within the ship, a mysterious presence is growing, a payload of such high-density potential that it warps the stars outside the viewport. As they are hunted by the Void-Post (couriers who deliver only to the past) and monitored by the Great Librarians (who wish to index and freeze their journey forever), the crew realises they aren't just making a delivery. They're protecting a secret that the universe isn't ready to open.
The Final Sorting
In the heart of the Quiet Quarter, at the ancient Primal Sorting Station, Zorp must face the Audit of the Ancestors. To save his crew and protect his mysterious cargo, he will have to perform manoeuvres that defy the Postmaster General's manual, including the forbidden Self-Plagiarism Diversion.
In Saga 2 of Andrew Paul Anderson's cult-classic series, the question isn't when the mail will arrive, but what will happen to the universe once the seal is finally broken. Experience the Grand Finale Fart that stabilises an entire solar system.Witness the Evolution of a Master-Mimic as Zorp pushes his biology to the breaking point.
Navigate the Liquid-Time Doors where the past and future are sorted into a single, terrifying manifest.
The package is signed for. The destination is unknown. The Special Delivery is about to begin.
