Now that Trump 2.0 is taking a wrecking ball to the deep state, the novel Zero House is all the more timely. Not only does it say things which, until now, could not be said-like pointing out that DEI and the Woke mindset are sick, smarmy aberrations-the novel skewers the hypocrisy, the corruption, and the treasonous evil of the shadow government inflicted on Americans by Democrats.
It's an epic, intricately plotted novel. You ease into it in the company of a lethal cabal of women who can do magical things. You throw in a pair of talking dogs with embedded A.I. chips who can out-think humans. For the first third of the book, you're immersed in the story of a woman who is at a life crossroads: To kill or not to kill the oppressors?
You then segue to a contrarian who savages Woke culture. She decries the imminent suicide of Western Civilization in allowing hordes of invaders to pour in through open borders here and in Europe, while the Woke apparatchiks meantime encourage deviants to destroy America itself. She names names along the way-of the real-life culprits who've fostered this malevolent insanity.
Life moves ahead meantime in the small town of Oxford where richly-detailed characters get on with their lives as they endure the Woke madness. The contrarian woman joins forces with the cabal of magical ladies and together they make real progress in reclaiming the America we once knew.
Just as you think the many stories within are coming to a head, the novel mutates again. As if an angry earth is fed up with the globalist Woke madness engulfing it, the story is now an end-of-life/extinction-of-the-species tale with characters who fight to preserve humanity.
Episodic, richly layered, and ultimately fulfilling, Zero House is a novel you'll want to read more than once. Because it speaks the truth in ways that will resonate with you.
