Book One of eight. They chase him for his slippers. The creature nobody has ever seen lets him come close.
Smilo has two slippers that never agree, and a village that finds this hilarious. Chased out for the last time, he follows the one creature his people only tell stories about, into a jungle nobody enters. He wins her trust by being kind before he is sure it is safe.
What you come away with- Trust in your own judgement, when nobody is there to confirm it.- Steadiness in a place you do not know yet.- A real practice: in Chapter Eleven he lies under a tree and lets his body go still, part by part. You can learn to lead yourself into it just by reading it.
This is the book of the ground, the base of trust and security. If that door is yours, you are already home.
ZENVOYAGE is a meditation book, a quest book and a fantasy book, all three at once: a fantasy series in eight books, for readers from eight to adult. Each book is a complete journey in itself; the eight together make one epic adventure. Nobody in it is fixed - the one who does not fit is simply the hero.
Nothing is explained, and nothing happens by wishing. Every marvel in this book is one you could perform. For grown-ups, the practices are named at the back.
Three runes glow in every book. There are twenty-four.
From a mother of three, whose children are four to twenty.
