Like his previous works, this rhyming picture book explores an important aspect of growing up, this time, focusing on our emotions, feelings and how we express them. This book follows XANDER, a remarkable and friendly X-ray machine with the ability to see emotions! Xander helps children to understand how they're feeling, in a fun, light hearted and colourful way.

Xander's story was written by Josh in early 2025, two years on from his previous works, and was inspired by his work with with young people, often away from home in environments that they are not familiar and/or comfortable with, and helping them to work through and understand the, sometimes emotional, issues that arise.

Now hoping to train to become a Counsellor, Josh hopes this book can be used as a tool to assist children in expressing their own emotions and helping others with theirs too.
