In the quaint town of Cassadaga, Florida, where people make a living talking to spirits, Chloe Peebles is being threatened by people who have reincarnated from the days of the Salem Witch Trials. After inheriting a bookstore in the Spiritualist community, Chloe thinks this is the key to her escape from an abusive husband. Chloe doesn't know who she can trust in this town at a time when trust is so important. What about Michael Romano, the sexy Italian artist who is romancing her, and Rev. Zach Taylor, the pastor of the church who wants to be her friend? Can she trust either or do they both want to harm her? The reading Chloe receives from Nightingale Perry sends her on a trip to Danvers, Massachusetts to confirm suspicions of her ties to the Salem Witch Trials. Mystery surrounds the phenomena occurring in the bookstore, the spirit watching Chloe, Zach's suspicious behavior, the murder on Halloween and the attempt to kill Chloe. You won't know the answers until the hurricane strikes!!
