Wizzie, a delightful little Yorkshire terrier, discovers and revels in his magical powers when he comes to understand that he is hardly an ordinary dog. In the first book of the intriguing Wonder Dog series, WIZZIE THE WONDER DOG, he saved a kitten from drowning. The family made a big deal out of his spectacular heroics and designed a hero's cape and crown for him to wear. They proudly named him, WIZZIE THE WONDER DOG. Now, in the second book of the series, WIZZIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD, Wizzie learns that a coin, belonging to the family's great-grandfather, sewn into the hem of his cape, really does possess magical and psychic powers. To his shock and surprise he finds he has been transformed into a real live Super Hero with a mission in life - rescuing others and keeping them from harm. The goal of his new life as a Wonder Dog, transports him into an intriguing fantasy world where exciting adventures take him to the unlikeliest of places. In WIZZIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD, Wizzie meets an extraordinary mentor, a very large long-feathered blue and green bird with the unusual name of Sir Lancelot Farthington, the Fozoloff, who claims to be the last of his species. He soon teaches Wizzie how to fly, talk and become invisible! Young fans all over the world will fall in love with this adorable little Super Hero, and will want to eagerly follow him on his amazing journey. They will see him fighting villians, along with his cool new girlfriend, Maggie May, who is his magical and psychic counterpart. Be sure to look for Wizzie's next adventure, coming soon.
