Susan Anderson's creative style engages children of all ages. Her short stories are written for the young child as well as the early reader (adults love them too). Ishnabobber Books is a series of Christian children's books, one building on the other that leaves the reader wanting more. They are beautiful picture books that demonstrate what a growing faith looks like. The third book of The Discovery Series, Why Is Jesus Special?, is a story of how Ishnabobber decides, rather than grumbling and complaining, he will focus on the goodness of God even when he doesn't have all the answers. comes to understand the goodness of God and even though he doesn't have all the answers, he decides he's going to over came a challenge and did the hard thing even when he didn't want to. You will enjoy Ishnabobber's journey as well as the extras found in each book that encourage great conversation and Bible memorization. Ishnabobber continues his journey to discover everything he can about Jesus. He understands Jesus is God's son and is told he's the light of the world. Still, he does not know what that means or how Jesus can help him shine brighter. This is a story of seeking answers while being in a place of gratitude for what is known.
