We may or may not have been there. The internet has changed our lives considerably. So much so that everything seems to be franchised out to cyberspace. Case in point being dating and the pursuit of 'love'. Dating sites are here to stay, as we become busier and time is at a premium. However, it has its pitfalls. The potential to deceive and be deceived is all too real. How can you vouch for the veracity of the information put forth by anybody? It's a minefield that many are precariously treading. A measure of faith is required. This little read details such an experience, although fleeting, it was real. Fortunately no one was hurt, but it is a reality that is repeated many times over as individuals exercise choice. Since there is no prevailing history between parties generally, then equally there appears to be no moral obligation to care about the emotional state of the 'rejected ones'.Some have no problem just dusting off their feet whilst others are visibly jolted. So, it's best to try and understand the concept for what it is, and if comes good, then bingo! The author has tried her best to smile about it all, and gives some cautionary advice at the end.
