Who can have a clearer vision of a great spiritual teacher than his personal servant? The servant lives with the guru, and is with the guru in all public and private moments. It is an exceptional vantage point from which to experience a great saint. Srutakirti dasa spent over two years in the personal service one of the most influential, charismatic, spiritual personalities in the history of the world: A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the Founder/Acarya of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness. At the age of Seventy, when people think of retiring and sitting at home peacefully with family; Srila Prabhupada set sail from India to America to bring the whole world under one roof-creating a global spiritual family. His journey of limitless compassion is very beautifully summarized in this book of meditations by Srutakirti dasa. Srila Prabhupada was a true Acharya-teaching by example, living the life he taught others to live. Srutakirti dasa allows us to enter the world Srila Prabhupada and gives us access to many public and private pastimes.
