Weeds, Jerome K. Jerome's rarest book, was first published in 1892 under the pseudonym of K. McK. The identity of K. McK. was a mystery for many years, until a letter came to light, which identified Jerome K. Jerome as the true author of Weeds. This letter, which was written by Jerome K. Jerome to his publishers - Arrowsmith, was auctioned by Sotheby's in February 1968. Weeds was first published in the Arrowsmith's Note-book Series; a series that was quite unusual and rather short lived, as the books were bound at the top rather than on the side, and all of the pages were single sided. Weeds was never reprinted, and only a handful of the first editions have survived. This is Jerome's complete unabridged story. Paul Jones L.R.P.S. (Member of the Jerome K. Jerome Society).
