A quiet village, a town like many others in the world. Families, friends, neighbors, secrets, unresolved situations, old grudges-all flowing and slipping away like water. Suddenly, one night, a storm in the mountaintops swells the river. The good old Zio Uncle, for the first time in his life, initially threatens and then, with apparent great effort, succeeds in knocking down the bridge of the only road leading to the village.
The sheriff follows the entire dramatic situation from his pickup until the devastating collapse, the very moment when, unbelievably, a mysterious car manages to cross the bridge and disappears into the village. He immediately senses something very strange and begins to have unusual and extraordinary perceptions with water. From that moment, many things begin to happen in the village, some dramatic, and the sheriff intuitively realizes that the presence of the mysterious car may be the cause. Its driver is nowhere to be found, and no one knows who it could be. Life in the village will never be the same. Outside the village lives a woman, a very unusual being, long considered a little crazy or a witch, but who soon reveals herself to the sheriff as a creature with incredible knowledge. She will help him understand the profound meaning of the events overwhelming the village and guide him through important passages of personal growth. The villagers will all face deep personal crises, where they will be confronted with choices, and the waters of the springs will purify this small portion of the world, awaiting the much greater events that will awaken the consciousness of the entire planet.

Davide Ragozzini (Italy, 1972) is an independent writer and philosopher, considered by some as the new Italian Paulo Coelho. He is the author of novels and essays that weave together spirituality, social critique, and the quest for inner awakening. His literature brings an original element: the narrative conflict does not arise from a malevolent presence, but from higher entities that, through the challenges they create, push the characters toward a n evolutionary passage.
