Volume 13 systematically covers the complex expiations (Kaffarat) and the core physical rites of the sacred pilgrimage. It begins by detailing the penalties for violating the state of Ihram, including the specific compensations required for hunting various animals, engaging in sexual relations, or committing other prohibited acts.
