In Leaving Sherwood House, Rania Hussant delicately weaves the narrative around the Murphy family's poignant journey, skilfully infusing the essence of mindful parenting throughout. Through the eyes of Hannah, a ten-year-old girl grappling with impending change, readers witness the family's transition from their beloved Sherwood House to an uncertain urban life. Moments of humour, warmth, and sibling camaraderie punctuate the story, underscoring the family's resilience and love as they navigate challenges and embrace new beginnings. Within this tapestry of emotions, the subtle threads of mindful parenting gently guide the Murphy family, shaping their responses and fostering growth amidst uncertainty.
Rania R. Hussant is a Certified Mindful Parent Educator, Life Coach and mother of five children. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Teaching Diploma. Over the last fifteen years, Rania has worked with children, while supporting parents, in different communities and countries, such as Lebanon, France, Oman, and the UAE. Currently, Rania hosts multiple mindful parenting courses and workshops that empower parents in their parenting journey.
She strongly believes that for our children to be compassionate citizens in the future, who care for the welfare of humanity, we, as parents, need to properly invest in their upbringing.
